40 DAYS FOR LIFE: The Knights of Columbus will be participating in the 40 Days for Life program on March 30 from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. and is asking for help. This is a coordinated, national campaign to bring continuous prayer to local abortion clinics in more than 500 cities across the world. In Columbus, the program is sponsored by Greater Columbus Right to Life. The vigil will be held at Founders Abortion Pill Clinic, 1243 East Broad, Columbus, from 9:00 a.m.-2:30 p.m. See the sign-up sheet in the Gathering Space or contact Mike Redmon at 419-306-6192 to sign up/ get more information.

FOURTH ANNUAL BASKET OF HOPE 2020 – The Basket of Hope 2020, a project of the Canal Winchester/Lithopolis Ministerial Association, is a project with the Community Food Pantry to offer Easter baskets for 100 children ages 4-12. Our parish has been asked to donate Easter grass for the 100 baskets (probably 2 packages of grass for each basket), and 25 bags of jelly beans to fill the eggs. Spiritual Adoption

  Spiritual Adoption is praying for an unborn baby every day for nine months. Archbishop Fulton Sheen suggested we pray this prayer; “Jesus, Mary, and Joseph, I love you very much. I beg you to spare the life of the unborn baby that I have spiritually adopted who is in danger of abortion.” There are Holy Family prayer cards and models of a 12-week-old baby that you may take from the table in the Gathering Space as a reminder of your commitment. Literature and bumper magnets supporting life are also available on the table.

The weekend of October 13 and 14 the parish celebrated not only our patron Blessed Pope John XXIII’s feast day but also the 50th Anniversary of the beginning of the Second Vatican Council. Our Masses had special readings and our Worship and Gathering Spaces were decorated with a Papal theme remembering Pope John XXIII.
