"One Day to End Homelessness"

  This Thursday, January 31, 2013, The Community Shelter Board will renew its community- wide campaign entitled “One Day to End Homelessness.” The campaign is designed to raise funds for emergency shelter and other services to the homeless in Central Ohio by appealing to donors to give the equivalent of one day’s rent or mortgage payment to help house those without a home.   THE 2ND ANNUAL SOUPER BOWL OPEN HOUSE OF THE COMMUNITY FOOD PANTRY – The 2nd Annual SOUPER BOWL Open House of the COMMUNITY Food Pantry will be held on Sunday, February 3, from 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. at the Food Pantry located at 360 West Waterloo. HOLY HOUR FOR LIFE

  January 22, 2013 marks the 40th anniversary of the Supreme Court Abortion Decisions. This day is to be observed as a particular day of prayer for the full restoration of the legal guarantee of the right to life and of penance for violations to the dignity of the human person committed through acts of abortion. On Tuesday, January 22, we will have a Holy Hour in connection with our Morning Prayer Service. This will include Exposition, Rosary and Benediction. If you are free at that time, please join us. If this is not possible, please spend some time on this day praying for the intention mentioned above.
