Adult Winter Bible Study

ADULT WINTER Bible Study LECTIO EUCHARIST: Saint John XXIII Faith Formation Commission is pleased to offer the winter Bible Study, LECTIO EUCHARIST. This ten-week Bible Study will be offered on Tuesdays from 1:00-3:00 p.m., and Thursdays from 7:00-9:00 p.m. The Bible Study begins on February 14 and 16 and ends on May 2 and 4. There will be a break with no Bible Study on April 11 and 13 and 18 and 20, due Holy Week and Easter Week. There is no registration fee and the signups will be the weekends of February 4/5 and 11/12. Sandwich Saturday

SANDWICH SATURDAY: This month, our Sandwich Saturday is January 28, 2017. The sandwiches we make are delivered to St. Lawrence Haven in downtown Columbus to feed the homeless. Please check the board in the Gathering Space for the needed supplies. All are welcome to come at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, January 28, 2017, to take care of our brothers & sisters in Christ’s name.

MIDDLE SCHOOL YOUTH EVENT – BOSCO BASH FEBRUARY 11, 2017: Annual Bosco Bash Middle School Youth Rally at St. Timothy’s Church. This is open for all students in Grades 6-8. Signups have begun for the rally. If interested, we will be taking the Middle School youth to the event, which begins at 2:30 p.m. It will conclude with Mass that starts at 7:45 p.m. Parents are invited to attend Mass with the youth, if available. ALL LITURGICAL MINISTERS: May we ask all Liturgical Ministers, Lectors, Altar Servers, Ministers of Communion and Greeters/Ushers when you come into the church for Mass, if you are not scheduled, can you let the sacristan on duty know that you are available for your ministry. The sacristans do not know all the Ministers from all of the Masses, so it is a great help to our parish family if you can help.

Parking Reminder

A REMINDER: The Tri-County Medical Center parking lot is available to us on Sundays. We have a walkway connecting our two parking lots. If you can please use that area instead of the grass, it will be greatly appreciated. The grooves in the sod will make it difficult for mowing when the weather gets nice again.
