Platinum Club March Meeting

PLATINUM CLUB: The next meeting of the Platinum Club will be held on Wednesday, March 15, at 6:00 p.m. This will be a St. Patrick’s Day potluck, combined with a wine-tasting event. Please bring your favorite Irish dish to share. Cost for the wine-tasting event, which will be hosted by Parishioner Jim Bohnlein, will be $2.00 per person, payable at the door. LENTEN FRIDAY EUCHARISTIC ADORATION AND STATIONS OF THE CROSS – Each Friday in Lent beginning March 3, 2017 we will have Eucharistic Adoration following morning Mass. We will conclude with Stations of the Cross and Benediction at 6:30 p.m. Come when you can; leave when you have to. You can also sign up for a time slot on the table in the Gathering Space.

Help Needed for Altar Linens

HELP NEEDED FOR ALTAR LINENS: We have volunteers who launder and iron the Altar Linens each week. They are scheduled approximately every other month or 8 weeks. PRAYER INTENTIONS NEEDED: The St. John XXIII High School Youth Group will be praying for the special intentions of our parish during our Lock In on February 17. If you have any special intentions that you would like to include, there is a box and slips of paper in the Gathering Space for those requests. The Youth will be spending time in the church throughout the night praying for those special intentions.

PLATINUM CLUB TRIP: On October 9-11, 2017, the Platinum Club is planning a bus trip to Lancaster, Gettysburg and Shanksville, PA. Cost is $430.00 per person/double occupancy, which includes most meals and all hotel expenses. In Lancaster, we will enjoy the presentation of “Jonah” (included in cost) at the Sight and Sound Theater. We will then visit Gettysburg and finish our trip at Shanksville at the Flight 93 Memorial.
