Please take a shopping list of needed items from the display in the Gathering Space, and consider putting together a meal your own family might enjoy eating; or simply pick up an item or two from the list while you are grocery shopping this month.   Each year, beginning in May, in order to continue to participate in the fund raising for churches and schools, Kroger Corp. requires that you reregister your Shopper’s Card online. Our five-digit code number for Kroger Community Rewards Program is 81017. Please take a few minutes to register. There is information on the table in the Gathering Space explaining the programs at Kroger, Meijer and Gordon Food Service.

  Ladies... Come celebrate the beginning of summer with us – sharing faith, fellowship and fun! Our summer meetings will be on a new night...First Thursday of the month! Our next meeting is Thursday, June 4. We will meet at 7:00 p.m., in the Social Hall, then relax and have some fun playing BUNCO! We will have light refreshments. Softball Team

Habitat for Humanity

  We will be building a house on Twin Creek in Lancaster starting in about a month. Final plans have been drawn and will be submitted the end of this week. We have a 3 bedroom with a basement single story house with garage. The walls were constructed by Madison Christian Church same as last time. Heather and Rodney Grayson are the proud parents of Dakota and Rodney. The family has been in the Fairfield Metropolitan Housing Authority home ownership program for 5 years. ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED

  If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server, you are invited to a training session which will be held on Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. All parishioners who have just finished third grade are now eligible to be servers, but we also welcome any of our young parishioners in elementary or high school to become servers.

 After 15 years of dedicated service to our St John XXIII Parish Community, Father Tony will soon be retiring as our Pastor and transitioning in to the next phase of his pastoral journey. The Parish Transition Team is scheduling two special events to celebrate the relationships we have experienced with Father Tony over the years.
