  CONFIRMATION INFORMATION – Confirmation will be celebrated on June 7, 2014, at the 5:00 p.m. Mass. Recently a letter was sent to those in our parish who will be in the eighth grade during the 2013-2014 school year inviting them to begin their preparation for this sacrament. If you are in the eighth grade and did not receive this letter, or you are in the ninth grade or above and have not been confirmed, and are interested in receiving the sacrament, please contact the office at 614-920-1563.

Fortnight for Freedom

  FORTNIGHT FOR FREEDOM – Fortnight for Freedom (14 days) began on June 21 and concludes on July 4 emphasizing our Religious Freedom. Bishop Campbell has asked all parishioners to pray either the Litany for Liberty, please see the insert in the bulletin, or a daily Rosary and offer some sacrifice for the intention of religious freedom. IMPORTANT DOCUMENT ANNOUNCEMENT

  Our parish has purchased a beautiful exact reproduction of the Papal Bull “Humanae Salutis” which announced the opening of the Second Vatican Council. This reproduction was issued in cooperation with the Prefect of the Secret Vatican Archives to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Council. The first volume is an exact replica of the Papal Bull, which is written in calligraphy, on vellum (sheep skin) with a beautiful illumination on the first page. ALTER SERVERS NEEDED

  If you are interested in becoming an altar server, you are invited to a training session which will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. All parishioners who have just finished third grade are now eligible to be servers, but we also welcome any of our young parishioners in elementary or high school to become servers.
