The diocese has asked us to work from home as much as possible to keep everyone as healthy as possible. We are answering all calls...

All Are Welcome

Posted on June 27, 2020 in: General Parish News

ALL ARE WELCOME That has been the theme song of St. John XXIII Parish since the beginning almost 20 years ago. It certainly feels wonderful to be attending Sunday Mass together. We thank God for the TV Mass and the streaming of Mass still benefiting those who are not able to return yet. The Diocese has recommended anyone over the age of 70 to still be cautious in being in any kind of group settings even at a social distance. Thank you for taking care to keep yourself and those around you safe. Please wear a mask, if you need one let one of the ushers know. We have a limited number available. We are trying to keep everythin...

For 10 weeks, while we were unable to have public Masses, the Knights conducted drive-thru food and diaper collections in our parish parking lot each Sunday. The response was AMAZING! As you would expect, The Women&rsquo...

God of justice, In Your wisdom, You create all people in Your image, without exception. Through Your goodness, open our eyes to see the dignity, beauty, and worth of every human being. Open our minds to understand that all Your children are brothers and sisters in the same human family. Open our hearts to repent of racist attitudes, behaviors, and speech which demean others. Open our ears to hear the cries of those wounded by racial discrimination, and their passionate appeals for change. Strengthen our resolve to make amends for past injustices and to right the wrongs of history. And fill us with courage that we might see...

Pope Francis’ Prayer to Our Lady O Mary, you always shine on our path as a sign of salvation and of hope. We entrust ourselves to you,  Health of the Sick, who at the cross took part in Jesus’ pain, keeping your faith firm. You, Salvation of the Roman People, know what we need, and we are sure you will provide so that, as in Cana of Galilee, we may return to joy and to feasting after this time of trial. Help us, Mother of Divine Love, to conform to the will of the Father and to do as we are told by Jesus, who has taken upon Himself our sufferings and carried our sorrows to lead us, through the cross, to...
