THE ART WORK SAINT JOHN XXIII WORSHIP SPACE St. John XXIII Phase One Worship Space includes several original oil paintings done by local artist, and members of our parish: Jim Gerkin, Teresa Satola, and Todd Brausch. FALL 2017 ADULT BIBLE STUDY “WILD GOOSE”: The Wild Goose is a Bible Study that focuses on the power of the Holy Spirit. This study is on the Formed website and is hosted by Father Dave Pivonka, who teaches how to call on the Holy Spirit to guide us through our daily lives. The study will begin on Thursday, September 21, at 7:00 p.m., and Tuesday, September 26, at 1:00 p.m. This is a 14-week course and that will end in February. There will be a break for the holidays. ANNUAL PARISH PICNIC: It’s that time of year again! Mark your calendars! Our Parish Picnic is Sunday, August 27, immediately following the 11:00 a.m. Mass. Please bring a dish or dessert to share and a 2-liter of pop. Meat will be provided! Also, you may want to bring a lawn chair. PARISH SCHOOL OF RELIGION REGISTRATION: A letter and registration form were mailed to families with children in preschool thru 8th grade. If you did not receive a mailing, please let the parish office know so we can make any correction needed. The forms are available on the table in the Gathering Space. Preschool children must be 4 years of age by August 1. Registration is now through August 20, 2017. Tuition for PSR is $50.00 per child with a maximum of $150.00 per family, if you register by August 20. Altar Servers Needed

ALTAR SERVERS NEEDED: If you are interested in becoming an Altar Server, you are invited to a training session to be held on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 9:00 a.m. All of our young people who are entering fourth grade are eligible to be servers.
