SAVE THE DATE FOR VBS: Vacation Bible School will be held at Gender Road Christian Church this summer from July 16-19, Sunday to Tuesday, 6:30-8:10 p.m., with Wednesday night for program performance and ice cream social from 6:30-7:30. Come join us for stories, music, games, crafts, and discovery as we explore “Hero Central: Discover Your Strength in God!” Now in the planning stages, we are in need of teen and adult volunteers to help (shepherds to guide groups and leaders to teach (one lesson with plans and materials provided). CHILI COOKOFF: Mark your calendars! It’s time for the Third Annual St. John XXIII Chili Cookoff! Break out your favorite chili recipe and whip up a batch for us to taste and vote on! Join us Sunday, March 12, from 2:30- 4:30 p.m. We’ll be giving out prizes and trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place! We will also have hot dogs, beverages and a few other goodies. There is a sign-up sheet in the Gathering Space for those wishing to enter their chili for judging!
